Once upon a ‘Wood

Once upon a time magic was everywhere, in every dark forest, under every leaf, at the bottom of every pool and pond. The people believed and their children believed after them, but the world changed. There is very little room in the world for magic these days and so it has done what anything does when threatened; it has found places to hide, to sleep, to wait until its dawn comes again. The StillWood is such a place.

Sometimes we all need a place like this, a place dark and quiet and full of dreams. I’m glad you’ve found my little corner of the world where magical things, benign and mischievous, can still live in peace without fear of being wished away or forgotten. I hope you will subscribe and share it with me, Slog, and the Gnomes. We will work together to keep you informed and entertained, to make you a part of TheStillWood, too.
